I will be providing live updates this evening of Southampton's latest pre-season friendly against Beşiktaş at the Stadion Villach Lind.

1' Saints start the game and are kicking from right to left in this first half.
6' Saints earn their first corner but it comes to nothing as the ball bounces around the area and is eventually cleared.
10' Beşiktaş free kick whipped in and headed towards goal by Almeida, only to be stopped by the out stretched Artur Boruc.
17' Break in play as Almeida receives treatment after landing awkwardly; this turns into a quick drinks break for the players. Fairly even so far with both sides having spells with the ball.
24' Ball over the top from Fonte doesn't quite reach Jack Cork but forces the Beşiktaş keeper Gönen to put the ball out of play.
30' Fox whips in a cross that forces the Beşiktaş defender to put out for a corner which is then punched clear by the keepper who is challenged by Fonte.
34' Beşiktaş are struggling to keep possession as Saints stick with their well known quick shutting down tactic.
37' do Prado plays in Fox who has Saints first shot of the game but it's easily saved by the Beşiktaş keeper.
38' Rodriguez charges forward and wins a free kick for Saints on the edge of the area. Ward-Prowse takes it but it's tipped around the post.
44' Long run from Gökhan Töre who slots in Almeida but his cross is too long and goes out for a goal kick.

45' Saints bring on Wanyama, Shaw and Lambert for Chambers, Fox and Guly.
45' Beşiktaş get the second half underway.
47' Gökhan Töre finds Dentinho who strikes it against the crossbar from 12 yards out.
53' Dentinho slots in Almeida who tests Boruc at his near post but it's tipped wide and the resulting corner is bravely claimed by the big Pole.
57' Two more subs for Saints as Schneiderlin and Lallana are replaced by Jason Puncheon and Steven Davis.
61' GOAL: Beşiktaş take the lead with a thundering shot from Demirci from around 30 yards out. 0-1
65' Lambert rolls in Rodriguez who can't direct his shot either side of the goalkeeper. Easily saved by Gönen.
70' Three more subs for Saints: Mayuka, Lovren and Isgrove on for Rodriguez, Hooiveld and Ward-Prowse.
72' Substitute Mayuka has the ball in the back of the net with a right footed effort but is ruled offside by the assistant.
74' GOAL: Cork with the free kick, well taken down by Lambert on his chest and smashes the ball past the keeper into the bottom corner. 1-1
77' GOAL: Ball over the top to Mayuka who hits it past the keeper left footed on the half volley. 2-1
82' Fernandes thinks he's in on goal but is stopped by the late offside flag.
83' Brief stoppage in play as everyone pauses whilst Beşiktaş keepr Gönen does his laces up. Gone are the days where the keepers don't need gloves!
85' Steven Davis intercepts Demirci on the half way line and is through on goal. He charges clear and chips the keeper, only to be stopped by the crossbar. Should be 3-1!
89' GOAL: Now it's three! Shaw bombs down the left flank, slides it across the box and Isgrove slots home. 3-1
